Dr. Levitt is a certified Gestalt therapist and a licensed psychologist. She has her Certification from the Pennsylvania Institute of Gestalt therapy, and a M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Psychological Studies in Education from Temple University. Her specialty is Group Counseling. She teaches and trains Master and Doctoral level students as well as providing Clinical Supervision in Individual and Group Therapy. Recently, Dr. Levitt was honored for distinguished service as a consultant by the Philadelphia Board of Education.
Dr. Levitt is co-author, with her sister and brother, of Sibling Revelry: Eight Steps to Successful Adult Sibling Relationships. The Levitt siblings have led workshops and seminars in the U.S. and Canada for adults wanting to improve their sibling relationships.She has recently contributed a chapter on Art Therapy to School-Based Mental Health by R. Chrisner & R. Menutti.
