Marquita
C. Williams has had over 15 years working comprehensively in the field of
psychology. She is an experienced clinician,
consultant and trainer with expertise in mental health service delivery
systems, practice issues in psychology, cultural diversity and issues related
to multicultural competence in psychotherapy. She has consulted extensively on
issues related to children and adolescents, adult anxiety disorders, issues of
clinical competency and areas of clinical programming. During earlier years in
the field she received a clinical and research appointment at the

experiences have yielded invitations to present at national conferences across
the Unites States, such as the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity
(NCORE), the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy (AABT) and the
Cross-Cultural Roundtable held annually at Columbia University in New York
City. As the result of her distinction
in the field she has garnered numerous awards including the prestigious
National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH): Grant for Minority Faculty
Researchers, the “Best of the Best” Excellence in Psychology Award from
Columbia University and was awarded a position an Operation Crossroads Africa
Scholar to counsel communities in addition to teaching sexual health awareness
and family planning in Ghana, West Africa.
Ms. Williams holds an MA in
Counseling Psychology and an Ed. M. with a specialization in Cross-Cultural
Psychology, both from
Lovern R. Moseley, PhD
Lovern Moseley is a Counseling Psychologist with over 16 years of experience in the mental health field with children, adolescents and adults. Her primary area of interest is working with youth with emotional and behavioral disorders, as well as parenting, crisis intervention and issues related to being raised in foster care. She has experience in trauma therapy, community psychology, marriage and family therapy including work with interracial couples, biracial individuals, individuals of Caribbean descent and blended families. Dr. Moseley has also worked in the area of child welfare, partial hospitalization and residential treatment of children and adolescents and more recently in the area of mental health consultation with medically ill pediatric patients. Dr. Moseley has also held a position as an adjunct lecturer for courses in crisis intervention and case management in the field of behavioral health.
Dr. Moseley has completed training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at the Center for Cognitive Therapy as well as Trauma Focused – CBT through the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN). She has also completed a Pre-doctoral Internship in Professional Psychology through The Devereux Foundation and is currently completing a Post-doctoral fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Boston Medical Center.
